A casino is a playground with different market segments of gamblers – gamblers playing for different reasons – all in the same place. Some enjoy the challenge of beating the house. A few are trying to win money. But the majority want to feel as though they are the center of attention. This is a place that makes them feel rejuvenated and energized – win or lose.

It has been my job for the last twenty years to promote and market this excitement. Being sensitive to the motives of different gambler segments has led to the discovery of different styles and channels of communication – all as a means of building and maintaining a relationship.
