Gary Border began his professional career with Selection Research and gained experience in consumer research and market planning. Selection Research later acquired Gallup Research – the most recognized name in the field.
In 1979, Gary was named Director of Research for the National Restaurant Association in Washington, D.C. His most noted accomplishment was the development of the first econometric model of the food service industry. This model assisted the industry and Congress to formulate a minimum wage policy for restaurant operators in the United States.
In 1980, Gary joined Holiday Inn to lead the Research and Planning department for the newly acquired Harrah's casinos. By 1982, he became head of Marketing for Harrah's Atlantic City. In 1985, he became Vice President and head of Marketing and Sales for Trump Casinos.
In 1988, Gary founded Marketing Results, Inc. MRI was the first agency devoted to database marketing and brand development solely for the casino industry. In 1994, he founded a sister company in Nevada (Marketing Results Nevada Corporation) to serve Marketing Results' expanding clientele. More than two decades later, Marketing Results has served over 100 casino clients.
Patrice M. Gianni joined Marketing Results in 1994 with more than 15 years experience in the gaming industry and serves as CEO.
Patrice began her gaming career in slot operations with the opening of Harrah's in Atlantic City in 1980. In 1985, Patrice was promoted to Harrah's corporate offices in Reno, Nevada where she had responsibilities for five regional properties. In 1987, she was recruited by the Trump organization as Director of Slot Player Development for Trump Marina in Atlantic City. Subsequently, she served as Executive Director of Marketing for the Claridge Casino Hotel (now a division of Harrah's Entertainment). During her tenure, Patrice evaluated and reorganized the casino marketing efforts of the property, developed and initiated new database programs and redirected marketing dollars into profitable programs. She was responsible for promotions, special events, entertainment, direct marketing, player development, casino services, slot marketing and VIP services.
Patrice heads both the Nevada and New Jersey offices of Marketing Results. In recent years, she has been a key member of the pre-opening teams for over a dozen casinos throughout the United States and Canada. Patrice has restructured the casino marketing departments of Native American gaming operations with the primary objective of identifying and developing tribal members to assume marketing executive positions. Today, Patrice continues to consult with clients on database marketing solutions, analysis and overall communication and operational strategies.
Patrice currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born and raised in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Minor in Marketing.
Vice President of Database Marketing
Craig Border has been part of the Marketing Results team since 1999. He has managed accounts in gaming markets across the U.S. for national companies as well as Native American casinos and racinos. He has created dynamic marketing programs that resulted in increased revenue and occupancy. Additionally, he has extensive experience working with major casino player tracking systems.
Craig has played a vital role in the opening of numerous casinos since joining Marketing Results. He has established players clubs and assisted in slot tracking system integration. His technical knowledge, coupled with his casino marketing experience, has culminated in the development of innovative analysis products that empower decision-making. His knowledge of casino executives' needs led him to be an integral member of the AIM® (Advanced Intelligence Marketing) system development team. At present, Craig oversees enhancements to the analysis process and also manages client accounts.
Craig is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. When he's not at CrossFit or participating in a Spartan Race, he's on the hunt for the next best vegan restaurant.
Vice President of Operations
Meg Schroeder joined the Marketing Results team in 2004. Her background in the publishing industry, including production, distribution, media research and permission-based marketing programs, has proven to be a fundamental resource in her role as Vice President of Operations.
Meg oversees the execution of direct mail campaigns, serves as a contact between departments, manages the production department and develops and trains staff. She has vast knowledge of print and mail production, postal regulations, vendor relations and procedure development and documentation. Meg has been a part of the installation and training of the Marketing Results’ AIM® (Advanced Intelligence Marketing) system, as well as contributing to technological development projects. Meg also oversees market research analytics and reports. She brings great expertise to time management, meeting multiple deadlines, streamlining processes, trouble shooting and giving strict attention to detail.
Meg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Providence College, and a Master`s of Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Both on and off football season, she tries to survive cheering for the not so consistent New York Jets.
Vice President of Marketing Integration
Kim Cohen brings great expertise to successfully organizing and overseeing the execution of direct marketing campaigns and other database marketing initiatives. Kim has worked in a variety of roles within Marketing Results, from project management and data analysis to company operations and technological development.
She possesses an intense drive and vision to deliver the best solutions for her clients, combining her attention to detail with a forward-thinking understanding of project development. Her wide range of experience in the execution of marketing programs has led her to be a key contributor in the developmental team of Marketing Results’ AIM® system.
Kim came to Marketing Results after working as a Production Manager with TV Guide. At TV Guide, she managed the production of customized magazines, was responsible for the launch of new editions and was involved in the review and testing of internal software and databases. Today, Kim oversees enhancements to the analysis process, the AIM system, market research and website development. Kim is a graduate of Bucknell University. She relocated to Pittsburgh from Las Vegas in 2009 and is awaiting this winter's snowy weather.
Vice President of Creative Services
Kevin has over 20 years experience in the advertising/marketing industry. He specializes in creating compelling concept-driven advertising, collateral pieces, high-impact web design and marketing communications materials. Kevin began his career with The Wall Music, Inc. in Philadelphia in 1994. He has been with Marketing Results since 1996 and brings a well-rounded background in the Fine and Graphic Arts to his position.
Over the years, Kevin has worked with over 75 casino clients to produce top quality creative. Striving for an integrated marketing method, his designs adhere to brand guidelines, albeit with a fresh approach for each assignment. In doing so, fully incorporated and consistent artwork is produced to match the major visuals and themes of a marketing campaign. This type of integrated marketing increases consumer top-of-mind awareness while building brand equity.
Kevin directs a creative team consisting of eight experienced print and multimedia designers. The designers share a common goal to drive client success and impact the customer experience through compelling designs and one-of-a-kind solutions. They employ the newest techniques and technological advances within their field to ensure work is produced efficiently with the highest quality standards. The team produces a wide variety of projects including, but certainly not limited to, direct mail, website design, mobile sites, email campaigns, electronic displays, print ads, outdoor advertising, indoor signage and many other forms of marketing materials.
Kevin’s proudest moment at Marketing Results came via a phone call from the one and only Rick Springfield (well his people, but still…). Rick admired the invite designed for his show at the Horseshoe Casino and requested the Photoshop files for his website. Having owned copies of Rick’s art himself, Kevin thought it only fair that Rick should have a copy of his.
Digital Creative Director
As Digital Creative Director, Amy Morais oversees Marketing Results’ website projects and interactive marketing initiatives. She works with the Vice President of Creative Services to lead a design and development team that creates innovative websites, email campaigns, landing pages and mobile applications for our clients.
Amy has worked in website production and digital publishing since the mid-1990s, and still recalls the thrill of seeing her first web page download into a Netscape browser. She is passionate about developing creative uses of digital and mobile technology, translating a property's brand message and marketing goals into engaging user experiences and measureable results.
Before joining Marketing Results, Amy worked for several media companies in the Philadelphia area, including 6ABC and the Philadelphia City Paper, as well as in event management and promotions. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hampshire College and studied Graphic Design at the University of the Arts. She admits to having far more Apple® devices in her house than people.
Director of Account Services
Rebecca Perger brings a customer-oriented business philosophy to her position as Senior Account Executive. Her background includes over 24 years in the gaming industry, making her a key member of the Marketing Results team. Highly energetic and motivated, Rebecca brings a dynamic combination of attention to detail, enthusiasm and organization to land-based, riverboat and Native American casino clients.
Rebecca has successfully opened several casinos, developing players clubs with strong customer relationship management. She also uses her wide range of management experience and training skills to establish marketing department and players club procedures, ensuring orderly and efficient casino operations.
Prior to joining Marketing Results, Rebecca worked in the retail buying and operations department of Horseshoe Gaming Holding Corporation. She honed her expertise in production procedures, visual merchandising, conceptual planning, store design and fixture development at Caesars Palace.
In her present role, she helps develop and execute casino clients’ advertising and marketing projects including radio, TV, print, market research, electronic and direct mail programs. Her strong attention to detail, superb organizational skills and overall customer-oriented business philosophy combine to make her a key member of our Marketing Results team.
Rebecca has been a long time member of a book club, but in our 24/7/365 world would rather read comics.
Director of Marketing
Kristen first joined Marketing Results in 2005 as a Production Coordinator and subsequently was promoted to Supervisor, then Production and Marketing Manager. In 2013, she left the company to pursue an opportunity in digital marketing. In this role, she provided website marketing services and direct online channel strategic initiatives for the hospitality industry.
In 2014, Kristen returned to Marketing Results as a lead Account Executive. In this role, Kristen assists clients throughout North America in promotions, advertising, players clubs, player development, database marketing and campaign management.
Kristen combines her exceptional people skills with her understanding of production and casino marketing goals to drive revenue. She interacts with casino executives across North America, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Her wide range of knowledge extends to all phases of direct mail execution, vendor relations, website maintenance and development, online campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives. Kristen is detail-oriented and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
Kristen is a graduate of Providence College and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
Kristen is a long distance runner and competes regularly in marathons across the United States. She resides in Las Vegas with her husband Kevin and dog Utley.
Executive Director of Sales & Marketing
Mark-Anthony has over 14 years of gaming industry experience in finance, hotel operations, advertising, and strategic and relationship marketing. His wealth of knowledge allows him to guide casino clients to increase market share and revenues while providing organization to the business development and marketing efforts of the company itself. He specializes in establishing analysis-based decision making and marketing program effectiveness.
Mark-Anthony has worked for industry giants such as MGM Resorts International, Station Casinos, LLC. and International Game Technology (IGT), where he explored all areas of gaming, from loyalty and interactive marketing to systems design and development. His hands-on experience allows him to assist clients in advertising, digital marketing, database marketing and campaign management to ensure success.
Mark-Anthony graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in Finance. When he is not on the golf course, Mark-Anthony enjoys spending time with his daughter.
