Considering a new website design? Why it's important.

If you’ve visited our website lately, you’ve probably noticed the changes. Actually, we’ve launched a complete redesign of our site to make it easier for our visitors to navigate and access the solutions and products we offer as a company.  As a marketing agency, a standard website just won’t cut it.

People don’t have much patience online; they won’t wait for a page to load.

If a website isn’t optimized for mobile, they’ll bounce off in an instant. The need for a responsive website is a relatively new thing, but the need for flexibility isn’t.  Your site needs to accommodate ever-evolving media and multiple ways to deliver your message to reflect your brand. You must be able to add and change information quickly and easily.

A website isn’t just one channel in your digital marketing arsenal, it’s the hub that leverages today’s multichannel world.

Search engines, live streams, blogs, social media, videos, podcasts. Websites provide a clear path and point the way for a customer to interact with you – they visit your site to view your promotions, to book their hotel stay, to make a reservation in your restaurant. It’s a touch point that allows the customer to decide whether they’ll ultimately step through your casino doors.

We landscape, repaint rooms and buy new furniture to keep up with the times, follow trends and stay in style. We do it because we want to create an inviting space for visitors and for ourselves. Just like redecorating your home, you should be doing the same for your website.  Though best practices may vary, most agree that you should consider updating your website design every 2-3 years.  Improvements and updates should be made to your site throughout the year to stay current – with offers, promotions, specials, etc.

Here are some items to look at when evaluating your own website:

  • Is your current website responsive or do you have a desktop site and a mobile site?
  • Is the overall design up to date, fresh, and current with your brand?
  • How easy is it for you to quickly make text or photo changes?
  • How do you rank on search engines for the services or products you provide?
  • Are the goals of your website still the same or have they changed?
  • Have you recently added new products and/or services (like a new restaurant or a hotel)?

If any of these questions made you realize it’s time to upgrade to your website, contact us today and we’ll help you boost your online presence.
