A Casino Promotion to Generate Traffic
Marketing Results helped a newly opened Las Vegas casino meet its visitor and revenue goals with a high-impact marketing promotion that attracted walk-in floor traffic, boosted club signups, and increased coin-in over the previous month.
Situation
A newly opened Las Vegas casino had limited walk-in traffic from the strip. The casino contracted with Marketing Results to develop a casino marketing promotion idea that would:
- Attract 30,000 walk-in visitors
- Produce 3,000 new member acquisitions
- Create a 10% increase in coin-in over previous month
Solution
Marketing Results partnered with the casino to create the “Fins Up $500,000” promotion, with the top prize insured. Customers were attracted into the Las Vegas strip property with engaging themed promotional models, allowed to play an animated video game display located close to the entrance and issued a prize. Club enrollment was required to redeem the prize.
Secondary prizes could be won on the casino Facebook page, which was promoted on the prize receipt.
Results
By aligning on clear goals and executing with precision, we were able to exceed the casino’s traffic and revenue objectives, setting a strong foundation for their continued growth. The casino’s promotion exceeded their visitor and coin-in goals by 5%.
