MRI Holiday Show Wins IAC Award

The 2016 MRI Holiday Show has been named a winner in the 2017 Internet Advertising Competition Awards for Best Marketing Email message campaign/Best Mobile Email message campaign.

The IAC Awards are designed to honor the individuals and organizations responsible for driving excellence in online advertising across 96 industries and a wide range of formats, including online ad, video, mobile, newsletter, email and social media. The awards give winning organizations the chance to set themselves apart in the highly competitive online advertising environment.  Criteria such as creativity, innovation, impact, use of the medium and memorability were used to select the winners of the IAC awards.

A much-anticipated project every year, the holiday email is a favorite among clients, vendors and employees. The goal this year was to create an entertaining and personal communication to deliver holiday wishes.  The end result was a radio show email using custom code-based animation techniques.  The email connects the viewer to an animated North Pole scene presenting a holiday radio program produced by the staff of Marketing Results.

“The goal was to create a personal message for associates, clients and friends of our company,” said Kevin McElroy, Vice President of Creative Services at Marketing Results.  “Staff chose each of the songs and presented them individually. The email’s illustration depicting a modern car dashboard in Santa’s sleigh gives a nod to new connected car/mobile device technology and an advertising platform we will use to promote the experiences our casino clients provide gamblers.”
